Susan Stewarts' career in the arts began as a professional dancer in the Joffrey Ballet and now as a contemporary multi-medium painter living in France.
Susan, originally from Cape Cod, has been living in France for 20 years. She studied painting and drawing at L'Ecole Des Beaux Arts and began her painting career decorating French boutiques and painting fresque murales for many large French concerns. A few years ago Ms. Stewart decided to paint only private commisions and sold all her paintings via galleries and e-bay sales. Susan now devotes all her time to creating a body of work for a future show. NOTE: Ms. Stewart also does commisioned works. We have found many clients are interested in paintings that have already sold and ask for a similar (all paintings are unique and never copied) painting or for a personal portrait.
